Anyway, this pick could have just as easily been either Aria or Xeranad, so why not them? Simple: I thought Magnum deserved a bit more attention. Plus, just look how AWESOME he turned out!

As stated before, Magnum Roader was a former Nazi soldier turned into a cyborg as part of an experimental program (funded by Xeranad Lekard when he was posing as a member of the Thule Society), but the project only produced one successful product, Magnum himself. But by the time he was finished the Allies had pushed too far into Nazi territory. So Xeranad took him and groomed him to be his enforcer, and upgrading him as time went on, until he became mostly a state of the art android (with a skin mesh over the mechanical parts... which is pretty much all of him). He soon developed a love of American cowboy movies, and eventually adopted the Magnum revolver as his weapon of choice. But after watching his master for so long, he soon realized that Xeranad was not a just man, but cruel and heartless, and began to look for a way out, while still acting as his enforcer... and finally got his chance, ultimately defeating the Dark Lord's schemes. As punishment for his crimes, he was sent to Tartarus Prison, but the U.S. Military saw value in his skills and gave him the offer to become a soldier leading a special task force, the MDF, or Metahuman Defense Force. There, he acts as Captain and commands the respect of his subordinates and peers.
