So, five things about me, huh? Well, here goes.
1: It's been over a year since I last had a haircut. Once winter is over I'm going to get my picture taken, go to the barber, and once he's done get another picture taken. Then send the result to my parents.
2: The last taste of alcohol I had was semi hard cider I had on my birthday a year ago. It was also the ONLY taste of alcohol I've had. I honestly see no reason to go out and get drunk or smoke or what have you. Especially strange considering I live in Iowa City, where you can't walk five feet without bumping into a bar or someone coming out of a bar.
3: That's not to say I don't have my vices. Video games especially. Mostly those set in fantasy realms (though I found out just how bad Kingdom of Fire: Circle of Doom was within five minutes).
4: In terms of actual genre of games, I guess my favorites are platforming, RPG, and fighter games.
5: I have a terrible soda addiction. Seriously. My favorite kind is often cream soda, but my go to choice is Mountain Dew at restaurants.
So, that's it for me... now for the questions sent by
1: Favorite music?
- My favorites often come from video games. Currently though I'm getting addicted to listening to "Greatest Battle Music of All Times" on YouTube by XxImmortalmagexX. If anyone's interested, just ask me.
2: What was the last movie you saw?
- In theaters or just in general? In theaters it was The Dark Knight Rises. But if we're just talking in general it was Hotel Transylvania.
3: Did you like it?
- In both cases, yes. Sorta enjoyed Hotel Transylvania a little more though, simply because I enjoy a good humorous movie over one with too much action.
4: Favorite type of Story Genre?
- Isn't it obvious? Fantasy, of course. Why else do most of my characters look like they just jumped out of a fantasy manga (albeit a crudely drawn one...)
5: Favorite TV show right now?
- Since I don't watch TV that much, I guess the show I enjoy the most that's on the air right now is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (you laugh and I will hunt you down and... honestly, don't know. Maybe give you a hug?). I think Adventure Time is pretty decent too. I also get a good chuckle out of The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother.
6: Favorite Snack Food?
- Hmmm... good question. Guess it just depends on my mood. Sun Chips I find delicious, though, especially the French Onion variety.
7: If you could meet ANY notable person from today or history, who would it be?
- Huh... never gave it too much thought. I'd probably like to meet Liam Neeson, mostly.
8: What would you talk about with them?
- That I love him as an actor and ask for tips on how to get into the business.
9: Who wins in a battle of Ninjas vs Pirates vs Samurais vs Knights vs Vikings?
- Oh, not THIS kind of question. Really? I can't say there are any clear cut winners. Each have their own strengths and weaknesses, and each one of them are unique in their own way. In terms of stealth, the ninja has the edge most likely. In terms of grace and skill with a blade, samurai are often the best of the best. But we shouldn't count out the Vikings' ferocity, the drunkeness of the pirate (hey, Blackbeard kept fighting until he finally sobered up), and the knights' intimidating armor and his way of fighting. But my favorite will always be the samurai.
10: What's your favorite thing of mine on DeviantArt? *is curious*
- I have to choose one?
11: What is best in life?
- Having faith in others, faith in God, and faith in yourself.
I'll post the guys I want to tag later. Not feeling it right now.

Uh... deviantART? The hell is this?
So... I've been having problems with dA for a little while. On my computer I cannot seem to post status updates easily. This alone hasn't been a deal breaker... More annoying still is the most recent development where I am, for whatever reason, unable to buy ANYTHING from dA. I cannot purchase a commission from other artists and I cannot buy points. What gives, dA? Do you suddenly believe you are too good for my money, or is this an issue you are unaware exists and have yet to properly resolve?
Update and Stuff
Hello all. Firstly, things are gonna be a bit hectic for a while, as having to get everything situated at my place after my brother left and my new roommate moved in, things have gotten rather tiring. Secondly, I've been attempting to create my own universe for Aria, which currently has the title of "Wandering Silver". I am not finished with the first story yet, but if anyone wants to help with the development, don't hesitate to ask.
My First Time As Dungeon Master
Well... that happened. So, for the record, less than an hour ago my first time as a Dungeon Master came and ended. It was going alright... until the power went out and our friend joining us via Skype lost his connection. As a result, we had to call it there. So, how did I do? Well, it ended way too quickly for me to really say. But I think I did alright for a first time. I mostly just flew by the seat of my pants with the town and the NPCs but the scenario and encounters I had planned in advance... stuff that I sadly didn't get to do because of the power outage. So, the stuff I spent the last half of a week working on amounted to nothing. That said, our one shot will continue from where we left off next week. Hopefully I can get to an enemy encounter BEFORE something else happens to stop it in it's tracks.
DnD Review: The Artificer Class
So, it's been about 6 years since Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition came out. And in that time it has exploded in popularity, partially thanks to podcasts like Critical Role. And in that time, it wasn't until near the end of 2019 that a new class was finally added to the game, the Artificer, which had been in the beta stages for several years, starting as a subclass for the Wizard and Cleric before becoming it's own thing entirely, and it took roughly 2 years to iron out the details. Having played an Artificer during it's beta stages as my character, Wagner Krieg von Glasfyre, a True Neutral Human Noble Alchemist (yeesh that is a mouthful),
