Some more designs for the comic.
Three monster types that serve a particular villain... the Ithilid, aka the Mindflayer, the Beholder, and the Shoggoth (made it a young one so you can see it easier)
I'll be honest... I have NO IDEA what I was thinking when designing that Beholder. Just... ugh. I know I can do a lot better than that!
Maybe if I remove the mouth below the center eye and make that center eye also be a mouth... I've seen it done.
There are several more types of these kind of monsters, based on Lovecraft's works. I'll try to incorporate as many of them as I can, but I'm avoiding bringing the actual cosmic horrors into it... the Great Old Ones will just have to sit this one out... the villain in question is enough as it is.
Anyway, hope you like the designs. I did them super quick without any planning... I just drew them as is (all of this is freehand... yeah, I'm surprised too)

I love the Lovecraftian vibe this piece has! I do have a suggestion for the beholder - why not remove the giant eye on the core and instead place it INSIDE the mouth. That would be even creepier! Anyway these designs are really good. Great job!
